They are steel, and they are heavy, so worst case if you run out of freedom seeds you could beat someone over the head with the magazine. While these are not the latest plastic fantastic AR mags, they are an exceptional deal. 5 Can' t really beat these for the price. While I have not used them they look solidly built loaded a few to test function and feed no issues These magazines far exceed anything that I had expected and I will visit again. The fit and finish reflects well on a manufacturer that takes pride in their product. Not too sure what I expected at this price but these are the finest steel mag I have seen, at any price. I ordered 30 of these and they arrived today. Posted by Shane Mccubbin on Jan 20th 2022 Only take a few light passes.īottom line is I would buy more of these. No failure to feed issues, but if you buy some and you' re picky, hit the front of the lips with scotch Brite, few strokes of fine sand paper, or a cloth polishing bar. When loading rounds a few of the mags would very lightly scratch the brass. My one call out would be the feed lip undersides are not well deburred. 90 Grams so 5 of them adds a pound over 5 PMAGs. They are a lot heavier than a PMAG so be prepared for that. The paint is nice, even, and seems durable so far. I normally only use PMAGs, but the price was impossible to pass up on.
